enWeb Mapping with OpenLayers and Drupal

<p>This session will be focused on demoing the new <a href="http://drupal.org/project/openlayers">OpenLayers Drupal module</a>. This module can allow you to "mashup" data from many sources and display a unique map with variable styling.</p>
<p><a href="http://openlayers.org/">OpenLayers</a> is a free, open-source JavaScript library that provides an API for displaying an interactive map and much, much more.</p>
<p>Some of the topics that will be discussed or demoed:</p>
<ul>
<li>Map presets and options for how maps behave and look.</li>
<li>Input with maps and data storage.</li>
<li>Map displays with Views</li>
<li>Inline map with content filters.</li>
<li>The OpenLayers Drupal API.</li>

Alan Palazzolo is a Lead Developer at Trellon and a lead maintainer of the OpenLayers Drupal module. Alan is a strong believer in open source, open data, coding standards, and responsible development. He also feels that data visualization is an important topic for the analysis and communication of the growing amount of data in our world. </div>
