Drupal and the Environment

This session would take a look at Drupal's impact on the environment.

Questions we would try and answer are:

• What can we say about Drupal's environmental impact? Can we asses the impact o Drupal's users, developers, and community through the use of computers, servers, and other materials?
• How has Drupal helped the environment through helping to organize and empower people?
• What can Drupal or the Drupal community to do improve our environmental impact?
• Should Drupal and/or the community have environmental recommendations or standards?

I'd prepare for this by looking at some aggregate data of the drupal user and development community, info about such topics as 'green hosting', and computer recycling http://www.pbs.org/frontlineworld/stories/ghana804/video/video_index.html
