Views modular and pluggable theming

Your session in a few words:
Efficient views theming in a large development team
Track:
User experience and design
Session Type:
Panel
Level of expertise:
Intermediate
Language:
English

This session will show you how an efficient theming of the views' output can be achieved even when many developers are involved into the same task.
Typical scenarios are corporate's large sites or public institutions portals.
You will learn:

  • The benefits of the modular approach
  • How to apply all this to the views' list type
  • How this technique can be extended to other types of views to fit all your needs

This talk will cover Views 2

ralf's session

it will be very interesting
ed.

Sounds interesting, although

Sounds interesting, although I think the views 1 is redundant.

Although

I also think that views 1 is redundant. I'll consider to skip it just because of this.

sounds great, views 2 for me is enough

For me personal views 2 would be enough as well, but others may think in another way.

So it may belong to another session.

Otherwise we can put some other modules inside - maybe other people can find it useful.

Now seriously, I find that a lecutre, where 100% of the participants will find 50% of it redundant (either you are interested in Views 1 or Views 2) - is much less than optimal.

I'll probably skip this because of that reason.

Scope modified

I would like to thank you all for your feedback.
I decided that Views 1 will not be covered anymore to avoid redundancy (as you suggested above).

Thanks!

You won my vote :-)
