English Would you like to create Flash websites and allow your clients manage the content of their websites without breaking what you've created, and without you having to do it for them? This session takes you through the basics concepts of theming Drupal in a way that will save both you and your clients a lot of time and headaches.
We will discuss the pieces needed to put the puzzle together and some of the pitfalls to avoid when creating this type of site. This session will cover how themers can make Flash and Drupal talk using what we know about the theme layer. This is not Flash/ActionScript programming session and we will not be talking AMFPHP.
Using these techniques as a launching point you will be able to create not just beautiful sites, but highly interactive user experiences.
The session is marked as an Intermediate level of expertise but Beginners are encouraged to attend as it is the intent to help you think of Drupal themes in a whole new way.
