Your session in a few words:
Despite being the best CMS, Drupal still sucks. Here's why.

User experience and design

Language:
English Drupal is the best Open Source CMS, and probably more. It is also a great source of frustration for many of its supporters.
This presentation will walk you trough a selection of EPIC FAILS from the point of view of a long time Drupal integrator, user and fan. It also tries to offer solutions to those problems, including prototypes, code contributions and sponsoring.
Also, you will laugh. Half-heartedly.
Change the title, please
Let me just say that these kind of titles are very unwelcome. We had several of them in DC, and I will not attend.
I am sure I am not alone in this.
provocative
Yes, it is provocative.
It's also tongue-in-cheek. Here :-p
Sorry you won't be able to make it, I guess.
title changed
I changed the title to make a bit less offensive. Just a little though :-)
wysiwyg editors and file management
Frustration for me comes with two really basic tasks:
- integrating a wysiwyg editor
- making file management easy for users
The above issues take up most of my time in supporting end users.
It steals time from doing the cool stuff.
I haven't seen these topics covered elsewhere in the sessions list, so I hope you will consider discussing them during the suck fest :}
