I live between Liverpool and Manchester in Lancashire NW England.

Work for the NHS National Health Service as a Community Mental Health Nurse Older Adults:
RMN, RGN, CPN(Cert.), BA(Hons.) Comp/Phil., PGCE, PG(Dip.) COPE.

Independent Scholar and Nursing Informatics Specialist

Why Drupal? Learning Drupal (still a virgin!) and Ruby very slowly. Joined the NW England Drupal User Group, attended Drupalcon Szeged 2008; Drupalcamp Manchester June 2009.

Also attended Scotland on Rails 2008 & 2009.

Webmaster for Hodges' model since 1998:

The home page was updated in 2005 (to reflect the model's structure itself), but the site is now dated, static, no sense of 'community': in short a dead-end.

Blogging since April 2006 'Welcome to the QUAD' about Hodges' model, education, informatics quite an eclectic mix:

I plan to use the Science Collaboration Framework -

http://sciencecollaboration.org/

- as the basis for a new site devoted to Hodges' model in a global health context also utilising Drupal's multi-language capabilities.

My flight is booked 29 August. This time for Dan and James' sake must make sure I travel light and camp near the venue! [ Hint double check distances ;-) ]
I look forward to meeting old friends from Szeged and new friends in Paris - should be great.
