Geek's tour of the Louvre?
Anyone interested in doing a geek's tour of the Louvre on Friday night?
The Louvre is open untill 22:00 (if I'm not mistaken)
Basically: the tour would go through the Antiquities rooms (middle eastern, egyptian, greek, roman, etruscan) and NOT through the paintings (especially not 17th and 18th century french paintings :)
The geek's tour would/should at least include such items as:
Code of Hamurabi

The Menu of Tepemânkh

First writing

Seated scribe

(In case you're asking: NO, the Louvre did not switch on "Clean urls" nor install "pathauto")
(I'm not a (art) historian, so I cannot explain the objects, but I the route through the Louvre)
Let me know if you're interested.
So is this event happening or not? (Cause I might be willing to go)
hmz... interesting, although I haven't seen the paintings either...
I'm in.
Sounds like fun, I might be willing to go, though no promises made, cause it all depends on how things go on Friday...
so is this happening ?? and If ? meeting when and where ???
