RER B closing Friday night / Saturday 28-AUG 29-AUG
August 28, 2009 - 16:43
I read in Friday morning's "20 minutes" paper that the RER B line from Charles de Gaulle will be closed for maintenance from tonight through late Saturday night/early Sunday morning. This means that train service to Paris may be interrupted at the airport for people coming in Friday or Saturday, though bus service should be provided as an alternative.

Hi,
According to the RATP site, it looks like you're right:
Traffic will be suspended between 'La Plaine Stade de France' and 'Aéroport Charles De Gaulle' from 23h30 on saturday 29 august until 06h30 on sunday 30th.
Nice of them to wait until people are coming back from holidays in droves! So you can either get the bus down to 'Stade de France' and then pick up the RER or, if you can find up a group of people, maybe share a cab into town, which may cost somewhere around 50 euros, depending on traffic and which side of town you're going to.
