What actual size is a large t-shirt - ie to fit what chest size? (also, surely medium, not large, should be median value?)
There is no standard for t-shirt sizes
I suggest that somone compares the t-shirt stock to a really popular, high-end one like the Hanes Beefy-t. A lot of t-shirts that are used for promotional purposes run small.

Can this be a per-person choice? This way, you'll get the exact size for each one, and no one will have to wonder around with too [large|small] T-shirts on them... :-)
