One of the exciting things that happened between DrupalCon DC and DrupalCon Paris is Features.

Features is a way to package portions of your Drupal site (think your "blog", "calendar", or your "moderation workflow") into modules. The beauty of Features is that it exports all configuration into code, which allows you to keep it under version control.

We are using Features extensively for the deployment of websites (development -> staging -> production). In this BoF I'll share how we use Features for deployment, I'll show you how to create and update Features and I'll help you to get started on building your own Features.

I'm interested

Features are definitely part of the new Drupal. I'd love to learn more about them.

I went to some of the BoF's by Dev. Seed on context/spaces in DC, really good stuff, very excited to take this stack further!
