Mapping and Drupal

This is a BoF session for all things mapping, location and geo- related.
There were a number of mapping ( http://paris2009.drupalcon.org/category/session-free-tagging/mapping ) sessions proposed for Drupalcon that never made it through to the event. This BoF session will give a chance for those who are interested in developing or implementing geospatial solutions within Drupal.
There's no formal plan yet but I'm thinking that two or three short (5 min?) presentations followed by some sort of Q&A or group discussion to exchange ideas might be of interest to people.
If anyone has any thoughts, comments etc please reply to this post and we'll get moving on it.

If there is nothing really exciting going on the same time, I will come by and demo and talk about the new Drupal OpenLayers module.

Hi,
+1 for this! I was looking at this module just the other day, wondering whether I should start exploring the openLayers route, so it would be great to hear from one of the developers.

Keep the geo-ideas/comments coming folks...
the more the merrier!
But ideas! There could be so much: geocoding from user input and appropriate fields; openlayers for geo data, obviously; using mapnik, tilecache with openlayers; getting a georss to geo mapper for feedapi.
