The Drupal Association is a not-for-profit association, registered in Belgium. Its purpose is to provide support to the Drupal project.

The Drupal Association has no say in either the planning or development of the Drupal open source project itself.

Drupal is a social publishing platform which can be used to develop practically any kind of website. It is relied upon by tens of thousands of users around the world, from individuals to large corporations and government agencies.

It is used to power blogs, corporate portals, intranets, ecommerce sites, personal websites, social networks and more. In fact, there is no limit to what can be built with Drupal.

DrupalCon is the conference for Drupal users, developers, designers and decision makers.

It is held twice a year: once in North-America around Spring and once in Europe, in late Summer or early Fall. The conference has been steadily growing and now brings together more than a thousand Drupal enthusiasts from around the world.
