Drupal is going East, meet the Ukrainian community!

Over the weekend of August 28—29 another big Drupal event will gather Drupallers in Kyiv, Ukraine, for gaining and sharing knowledge, as well as discussing all Drupal related topics.

DrupalCamp Kyiv will feature two full days of sessions for both beginners and professional Drupal developers and will cover everything from web-site construction and coding to design, usability, as well as topics on community life. This time, the conference has more than 300 registered participants mostly from Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus. The conference is supported by such European companies as Ciklum and Acquia and the Drupal community itself.

The Drupal event of such a big scale is being held in Russian-speaking region for the first time, and this is a really big step in further development of Drupal movement in Eastern European countries. It will push developers to be more active contributors, share their knowledge and expertise with new users.

The DrupalCamp Kyiv will be held just before the DrupalCon Paris. So, you have time to meet the Ukrainian community, share your experience, or build up business connections and head directly to DrupalCon in Paris afterwards!

The event is free of charge for participants. For more information visit their site.

Job conference

As it was not possible to comment on the Job post I'm commenting here instead....

It seems a bit tough to select a location so far outside Paris, can you not improve this?

That said, do you know the people from tmplab? Might be cool to meet them too ;-)
