Submitted by ischulz on July 22, 2009 - 22:11
Thanks to the awesome help from the scholarship panel (Webchick, BenAgaric, Yched, Kvantomme) , we're happy to publish the list of people awarded a scholarship for DrupalCon Paris.
We will contact every grantee personally the next few days to finalize the financial and practical details.
If you've been selected, please confirm as soon as possible whether or not your application still applies or if someone else can take your place.
We hope to see you all in Paris soon!

all the way from south east asia
Having found out that I won a scholarship, I was not able to avoid jumping with joy.
Then I realize, now comes the hard part: visa grant, flight sched/ticket, and a few what-if worries. I believe that that the people behind the scholarship is doing their best to plan-out the whole mission. I thank the jury for selecting yours truly. With that, I keep wondering how to get more involved (contributing/helping). I guess I'll stand by at the moment for further briefing.
More power to all,
Marc Robinsone
CloseTheGap
It was a rather long shot but I did try. I would be interested to know if any of the recipients got the CloseTheGap scholarship and are anywhere near the South Pacific. Would love to get in contact and leverage how DrupalCon can benefit those of us in this part of the world. In principle, CloseTheGap does look like having a lot of promise.
Congratulations to all who were awarded scholarships.
A great many thanks to the
A great many thanks to the organisation and the jury for the scholarship I've been given. My application still applies, so I guess we'll meet again in Paris! :)
